We are looking for a Functional Business Consultant to join the Run·On practice, Sedona Asia's agentic platform for asset management operations.

You will be the trusted link between our clients and the Run·On platform. That means running Discovery sessions with asset managers to understand their operations, shaping how agents get deployed across SimCorp Dimension and BlackRock Aladdin environments, and building new client relationships across the region. This is not an engineering role. We want someone who has lived asset management operations from the inside, knows the language of front office, middle office, IBOR/ABOR, NAV and reconciliation, and is genuinely excited about what AI can do for these workflows.

What you’ll do

  1. 01Run Discovery sessions with asset managers, insurers and public institutions to understand their operational challenges and identify where AI agents can make a difference.
  2. 02Shape Run·On implementation scopes based on client requirements, covering connections to Bloomberg, SimCorp and Aladdin environments.
  3. 03Own the full client journey from first conversation and business case through to live deployment and ongoing improvement.
  4. 04Build and grow relationships with new clients across Hong Kong, Singapore and the broader Asia Pacific region.
  5. 05Work closely with Sedona's technical and operations teams to deliver projects smoothly and keep clients happy.
  6. 06Represent Run·On at industry events, client meetings and conferences across the region.
  7. 07Bring client feedback back into the Run·On product roadmap.

What you’ll bring

  • 10 or more years of experience in asset management operations, middle office or a related financial services function.
  • Solid hands-on knowledge of SimCorp Dimension, BlackRock Aladdin or equivalent investment management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of asset management workflows including IBOR/ABOR, NAV, reconciliation, data quality and reporting.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills. You are comfortable leading a room and building trust with senior stakeholders.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and agentic technology. No coding required.
  • Fluent in English. Additional Asian or European languages are a plus.
  • Based in or happy to relocate to Hong Kong or Bangkok.
Nice to have
  • Experience in a pre-sales, business development or consulting role within financial technology.
  • Familiarity with GenAI concepts such as RAG, agents and LLMs at a functional level.
  • An existing network within asset management or financial services in Asia.
